Antique Kazak carpet knotted in the southern part of the Western Caucasus. Karabagh influences are evident in the patterns of the carpet. Good state of preservation, the heads were reconstructed over thirty years ago by a good restorer who was able to make the intervention invisible.

A prima vista non è suggestivo per i rapporti cromatici. Il verde centrale non attrae. Soffermando però lo sguardo di insieme sulla composizione irregolare viene fuori fuori un manufatto genuino, spontaneo, sinceramente artigianale. Ruspante appunto.
