										Antique rug Shassavan runner knotted by Kurds in Iran in the late nineteenth century. The carpet has several restorations clearly visible even in photography. 											Il restauro, sicuramente imperfetto, è migliorabile.
Ci sono due strade da percorrere: 
la prima è quella di sostituire completamente le parti restaurate con un nuovo lavoro eseguito alla perfezione, questo intervento, che da amatore estimatore dei pezzi antichi prediligo, comporta una spesa che non mi sento di consigliare.
La seconda via è quella di mascherare il restauro attuale in modo che n...leggi tuttoon sia così evidente, questa operazione, che correttamente viene fatta dopo che il cliente ha preso visione del lavoro originale, è gratuita e generalmente riesce a rendere gradevole il tappeto.
