The name "Samarkand" for this rug is not correct.
I mean
antique Samarkand rugs are the beginning of the nineteenth century, very rare! This is an old factory carpet instead of 60/70 years ago, which incorporates the ancient grounds of Khotan. These carpets have been given, I think so rash and superficial, the name of Samarkand. Unfortunately, this bad habit has become esta...leggi tuttoblished over time so much so that I am forced to use this term to distinguish which is the carpet.
Those circumstances the carpet in question is very pleasant, is an old piece in which the colors made from aniline dyes are used alongside the plant and the design takes on time adapting ancient motifs to perfection with ethnic furnishings.
