First of all, it is a precursor of the current use of assembling pieces of carpet. already studied more than twenty years ago, this piece was conceived with the true spirit of recovery and reuse and not as a fashionable proposal, but with the aim of enhancing the various fragments of carpet that are part of the Patchwork. The pieces included a...leggi tuttore for the most part antique and today they could be sold separately to fragment collectors. In fact, we note the whole Pashto tradition of Afghan carpets in the various typical iconographic declinations.
