	Ancient and prestigious weaving technique with a millenary tradition. The pieces woven with the wrapping technique are called by this name: the colored weft thread is wrapped around the warp thread, woven along the last two warp threads and then left free on the back of the fabric. There is a series of variations, some with and some without warp threads, chain stitch decorations or herringbone weaves. In any case, Sumak is a flat and more resistant weave.
