| We have given this quality of carpet the name of the mythical Indian city because in Hyderabad, as early as the twenty-first century, carpets were knotted in an effort to join the best technical characteristics of areas which are very different and distant from each other. These carpets have the following characteristics: Valuable yarns hand spun in Uzbekistan. Vegetable colors. Refined Senneh knotting executed by Afghanistan master craftsmen. Cotton weft and warp. Wool pile. Completely depressed warp. Double weft thread between knots, one thicker and tight and the other fine. A wide range of sophisticated and decorative patterns. Cut, washed and dressed under the Pakistani sun. We consider these characteristics to be the best one could desire in a new carpet. |
