402/5000 Antique carpet of the first half of the nineteenth century. Although the rug is still healthy in the structure, the fleece is quite worn, in some places the carpet is in the weave. To some it may seem like an old mat, not to me! It remains one of my favorite pieces, especially I appreciate that it has not been restored in a bad mood. delightful the small motif of the field played in a mod...leggi tuttoular way.

Capisco che per tanti conoscitori di tappeti questo semplice Hamadan rimane un tappetino rustico non particolarmente compatto nell annodatura; a me invece seduce la spontaneità con la quale è stato annodato, senza l ausilio di un cartone che shematizza il disegno, e mi piace scoprire le piccole figure umane quasi mimetizzate, e le lane, i colori.
